  • From managing complex financial transactions at Morgan Stanley to developing new product lines for Pepperidge Farm and Zola, my professional experience has required exceptional organizational skills. This ability is directly applicable to sorting, categorizing, and managing the belongings of seniors during a move. My bachelor’s from Vanderbilt University also directly ties into my work, as it was in Human and Organizational Development, with an emphasis on Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, which directly ties into my move management work.

  • My prior professional experience required the coordination of multiple departments, internal and external teams, and competing initiatives, which aligns closely with the multifaceted nature of move management. This includes scheduling, overseeing teams, and ensuring project completion, which are critical in senior move management.

  • In my role as Director of Vendor Experience at Zola, I was the head liaison between Zola and the entirety of the wedding professionals industry, comprising tens of thousands of vendors. My ability to communicate clearly with individuals of all different ages, backgrounds, experiences, and technical knowledge was critical to my success and the success of our product. Clearly and sensitively communicating with seniors, their families, and other involved parties, such as moving companies or senior living facilities is pivotal to success in this industry.

I can creatively address unexpected challenges and find solutions that align with the senior’s needs and preferences.

  • Managing large teams and diverse projects has honed my ability to be patient and flexible, skills necessary when working with seniors who may need more time and consideration in their decisions. Being adaptable and nimble is critical both at tech start-ups and with those who may have changing needs and priorities in their moves.

  • The financial and strategic analysis roles I’ve held require meticulous attention to detail, directly transferable to ensuring all aspects of a senior's move are carefully managed. Ensuring that even small aspects of the move are considered and handled, which is especially important for seniors who may be attached to specific personal items.
